89 feet in the air
A frequently used metaphor by moi…
Life is like a roller coaster. Even if we know we have no idea what we’re getting ourselves into, we still beg for the ticket.
We’ll then either complain about how much we didn’t like the ride later on, or simply keep it to ourselves, although the outcome feeling is usually never pleasant. After all, most people who get off roller coasters feel queezy with their head spinning and confusion a muck. Although, some are energized and ready for more. You would have thought that we would have all built up an immunity to these sorts of amusements by now. Are you and the other passenger(s) on the ride for different reasons? Do you think you will ever regret it? It’s too late to quit after the ride starts. Taking the easy way out isn’t possible at this point–unless you’re okay with a fall 89 feet in the air. If that suits you, and you believe it’s the only way out, do what you can to make it out alive. Just make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into.
We said we wanted honesty. And truth hurts, indeed. But afterwards, the expected outcome is pondered. What were the intentions? The hopes? The reaction? The ache blinds any other thoughts. No luck on sleep that night. The night in which your pillow and complete silence become your best friends.
Hello dear friends. Remember me?
