About Me...

The Sarcasticness. Loving every second of it. Another oblivious, knowitall teenager trying to separate delusions from reality. Lacks common sense, clumsy, easily amused, and is addicted to the common drug known as procrastination. On this small corner of the world wide web, I share pieces of that we all pursue. The rest? Probably a mystery--unless you get to know me better.

Interests...

Fun with friends, listening to music, playing guitar and piano, singing, writing, drawing, photography, videography, designing, video games, MMORPGs, online communities, money, fourwheeling, swimming, sledding, cardboard boxes & bubble wrap, along with all the other simple things in life.

First Impressions & Overdosed Tracks

I hate when you hear a song by a band that’s kickass. Then you decide that if the song’s that brilliant–the rest have got to be just as good, right? …yeeeaaaah, not always true. With dialup, this is pretty annoying to end up discovering–since downloading the songs to see if they are actually good takes a while. So finding out that a particular band is going to be pretty much a one-hit-wonder in my book, and probably many others’, makes me sad. Especially if they had so much potential in that one song. Kind of the same with other things… or people. First impressions strike interest, but you’ve got to make sure to keep it interesting–which requires originality. If only that was known to a few people I know. Ah, well. What’s a world without all kinds, even if it does add aggravation ;).

I love the song “Never Too Late” by Three Days Grace, an overall awesome band in my eyes. I turned on the radio today to be greeted by that very song and wanted to do the whole slow motion “noooooo” thing and switch the radio up a bit. You know, to make sure I hadn’t popped in the cd that was nonexistant in the car at the time. Now everyone’s going to know that song… and that’s just not cool. Call it selfish, but I usually begin to like a song less when everyone else is singing it. I’m weird, I know. But WHY!??! Why THAT song!??! :(

My newest musical discoveries are Alexisonfire (who reminds me a bit of Bullet for my Valentine, except different… yeah, that makes tons of sense), and 36 Crazyfists. I plan on trying some more Chevelle out too. And with that, I continue my search for a new playlist. My current music’s still good–I just want some fresh tracks to listen to for a while. I swear I’m not betraying any of them!

I broke into random laughter for a good 5 minutes in Katie’s pool today. I came up, coughed, laughed at my cough, laughed because I laughed at my cough, laughed at that, and that, and that. And couldn’t stop…. I loved it :D. I know, I’m weird. The look on Katie’s face was… indescribable. Which made me start laughing again. Don’t ask. Considering the fact that I was more happy and less emo-ish, I feel the weirdness was a very good thing. I also got to drive my mom around for 2 or 3 hours, so that was a definite plus. I really need my license, I just don’t know if I’ll pass. I mean, the worst I can do is fail, right? Yeah, that’s a great boost of self esteem.

Yeah, and that miraculous wireless goanywhereyouwant broadband connection I thought was so great… isn’t the $19.99 I thought it was. It’s like… a lot more. Like probably 3x’s that much. There goes my plan for world domination. Woo.
