I Don’t Get It…
My parents complained for what seemed to be forever about me being job-less. So now that I have a job, all one of them can find to do is complain about what a hassle it is for me to have one. This has happened every time. Yeesh, it’s stressful. I’m not the type of person who can just sit there and listen to someone nag at me forever, makes me too angry especially in a situation such as this.
However I do enjoy working at Subway much more than Telecommunications (Phone Surveys) due to the fact that 1) I’m not the type of person who does so well at sitting still and I also have a short attention span, and 2) I’m finally in a work atmosphere in which I know some of the people and get along well with.
The only downside is the same thing I inherited from McDonalds last year and that is that when I come home, I smell like Subway, just as I used to smell like fries & such. But that’s solved with an immediate shower, hahaha.
I also never knew Subway employees ever received tips. Pretty neat. I’m setting aside a jar in my room just to see how much collects up. Two days on the job and doing pretty good I hope. At least I haven’t heard any complaints from anyone, lol. Yay money!

ya see, right there is when I would start a yelling match with my parents. Do they have to drive you? If not then I don’t see what the problem would be. :/
I hope they realize that it’s best that you work. There are a lot of free loaders around now and it’s best that people know what it is to work.

It is nice to hear that you are having such a good time at your job. Sorry to hear about your parents, mine are like that as well.

Oh good luck with that!
I need a job over the summer; can’t afford tuition, lol!
